It has been reported that Copenhagen Wolves have, effective immediately, ceased all operations and have completely shut down their organisation, leaving their CS:GO Roster unsigned and free to pick up.
The core of the team – Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander, Danni “smf” Dyg and Marco “Snappi” Pfeiffer – have been a significant piece in the CS:GO team and have been with the company since mid-January when the team was picked up under the name unu.AIN.
Since then, the roster has changed but the three key members that were there from the start have been ditched without two legs to stand on, leaving them without an organisation.
It has been said that the owners of Copenhagen Wolves have “duties in other projects” and cannot dedicate time to supporting a rising CS:GO Team, and have therefore decided to cease all contact and support of the team and leave them “in the gutter”.
An official statement has been released:
“Over the last two months there has been a lot of distractions outside the game, as it became apparent Copenhagen Wolves no longer had the resources nor the time to keep this project going. Which lead us to a conversation regarding the future and both parties agreed on going their separate ways and nullify the contract from this day forward. We want to thank them for all their help and support during our stay.”
“On top of that we decided to release mertz from our team, as we felt he needed more time to adjust playing on a higher level and that he wasn’t ready yet. We decided to bring in a more complete player in terms of glace. All this means that we will be on the lookout for a new home to represent, and that we’re more than motivated than ever as four of us will quit our dayjobs and school, and the fifth would be willing to do aswell. We have a couple of offers at the current time, but we are more than open to offers. Interested parties can contact us here: email@example.com”
The following five are now looking for a new organisation:
- Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander
- Danni “smf” Dyg
- Marco “Snappi” Pfeiffer
- Valdemar “valde” Bjorn Vangsa
- Nicolai “glace” Jensen
