After a successful 2016 tournament, ESL confirmed another tournament NY event for 2017. The world’s largest esports company announced earlier that there will be a CS:GO tournament.
The event takes place from September 16-17th, repeating it’s attendance at the Barclays Center.

As the statement confirms ESL One New York will be held at the Barclays Center from 2017-2020 in a joint agreement with AEG Facilities. The partnership shows a huge step forward in esports. AEG’s global network boasts more than 120 clubs, theaters, arenas and stadiums. ESL now have the opportunity to utilize the world class event expertise of AEG with leadership in live event production, ticketing, marketing and sponsorships.
This year ESL One New York generated a massive six million unique online viewers. The event put the best CS:GO teams on center stage to battle for the $125,000 first place prize. Street Fighter V also featured at the event with over 1,000 competitors fighting for a $75,000 prize pool. Natus Vincere were the CS:GO victors, narrowly beating out Virtus.Pro to collect their grand prize. Whilst the Xiaohai’s amazing Cammy play crowned him the king of Street Fighter V for the Brooklyn Beatdown event.
