Is Olof Set To Return?!

Fnatic have just revealed that their star player, Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer is set to make a return to the Fnatic roster starting in this week’s Group D of ELEAGUE.

Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer was considered one of the best players in the world before his health took a dramatic turn for the worst and he ended up with a wrist injury at the start of the year.

He is now set to make a competitive return to the scene in tomorrow’s ELEAGUE Group D matches.

Due to the star’s injury, Fnatic had to pull in two stand-ins, in the form of Niclas “PlesseN” Plessen and John “wenton” Eriksson, with “wenton” taking part in the $512,000 ESL Pro League Season 3 team.

It was apparent that the team relied on Olof’s aggression and flow on the Counter-Strike battle-ground and the team started to slack and look weaker in the past couple of months.

Olof has confirmed that he is now fit to play again, and Fnatic will show off their full strength in their first game as a complete roster in ELEAGUE’s Group D.

This return also means that he will be part of their roster during ECS Season 1 finals later this month and will also make an appearance at ESL One Cologne at the beginning of July.

Fnatic’s roster for both of these tournaments, and also ELEAGUE, looks like this:

  • se Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer
  • se Robin “flusha” Ronnquist
  • se Freddy “KRIMZ” Johansson
  • se Jesper “JW” Wecksell
  • se Dennis “dennis” Edman

Fnatic also released this video on YouTube, regarding Olof’s return:
