E-Frag.net Announce The World Championships 2016 Counter-Strike Event

Twenty-Four teams that will represent their country will compete in the Asian qualifier over the next few weeks to determine what country deserves to represent their region at the LAN finals of The World Championships 2016!

The first part of the tournament will kick off with single- elimination, and best-of-three tournament bracket where the 16 lowest-ranked teams in their region will compete. The top four teams in their country will advance to a second qualifying round, in which they will compete against higher ranked teams in the best-of-three format.

Under the tournament rules, the top four teams will have a definitive spot in the event to compete with top seeded countries, such as China, Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia.

According the HLTV.org, the group round will be streamed on Azubu.tv/efragtv on June 18 at 14:30.  The teams competing can be viewed here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1MeJj5zdDPy8ThfV7rkt5MbM6r1o2paCWS7UeIKmNS0s/edit?usp=sharing
