Lincoln “FNX” Lau has been immediately benched by SK Gaming. Ricardo “fox” Pacheco will be the player to replace the rifler for the ECS Season 2 Finals and ELeague Major.

The recent rumors of conflicts in the team reflected in the poor results. FNX and FalleN apparently had disagreements in the teams approach to the game. SK Gaming felt it was necessary to make a change and replace FNX with fox. While the switch may seem reasonable, the lineup have achieved some of the most consistent results in CounterStrike: Global Offensive history. FNX joined the former Luminosity roster back in 2015 and put up solid numbers for the team. However recently the Brazilians haven’t been doing so well and are yet to hoist a trophy since ESL One Cologne.

On the other hand, Portuguese star fox is yet to play a professional match since leaving FaZe clan in August of this year. As a fellow Portuguese speaking player there will be no worries about a language barrier here. Although it is up for the debate the impact that the veteran will have on the team.
