It’s official, Slaava “Twista” Räsänen and the team have parted ways with the RCTIC organization
The Finnish team joined RCTIC in September after parting ways with Epiphany Bolt, as they left their jobs and studies to play Counter-Strike full time. Their careers truly began under the RCTIC name, and they won several minor LAN tournaments within Europe, such as the Nordic Masters Season 2 in February.
The team will be competing under the name LGR, and will be looking for a new home to represent.
The current roster consists of:
Eetu “sAw” Saha
Slaava “Twista” Räsänen
Saku “Saggerton” Jokinen
Lasse “Zoree” Uronen
Sami “xseven” Laasanen
According to HLTV, Slaava “Twista” Räsänen believed that the team had different visions about their future. A statement from him was released on the hltv.org website that stated:
“Our future plans and goals were different from theirs, which made us look for a new home for us,” he told HLTV.org. “We had a good journey with them and appreciate everything they have done for us, but it is time to move on. “We have decided to look for a new home, we are looking for a long-term relationship in which we can once again rely on the support of an organisation and fully focus on playing Counter-Strike. “All organisations interested in picking us up can contact me by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.”
