Former NA LCS jungler Santorin leaves NRG after an underwhelming split. Lucas “Santorin” Larsen announced his departure via his Twitter page. Santorin has chosen to become a free agent open to offers.

“I’m now a free agent! I appreciate all offers and I look forward to continuing my career in League. Thanks for everything NRG!”

A disappointing split

The jungler stated that he’d be streaming whilst deciding upon offers for the 2017 season. NRG was recently relegated to the North American Challenger Series. Their split was disappointing after only winning four games. The former LCS team went on to lose to Cloud9 Challenger and Echo Fox in the promotion tournament.

Despite the relegation, Santorin sounds eager to return for the 2017 season. ESPN questioned the Danish jungler about moving to Europe or remaining in North America. The Dane told ESPN “I’ll consider the offers I’m getting from there, but my main goal is to continue to compete in North America”.
