The Big East has partnered with RiotGames, the developer of League of Legends, to create the Big East League of Legends Championship during the Spring of 2019.
Seven schools are currently in the Big East Conference that are competing in the Big East League of Legends Championship out of the ten competing. The schools that will compete in the event at Butler, Marquette, DePaul, Providence, St.John’s, Villanova, and Seton Hall.

October saw the Big East Conference partnering with the ESL to launch the Rocket League competition.
