WIth a brand new trailer coming from The Game Awards 2018, Capcom has confirmed that Devil May Cry 5 is supporting online co-op gameplay.
As clarified in a post on Capcom Unity, the dev group has fabricated "a framework where, while associated with the Internet, players will show up in one another's amusements continuously, or through apparition information ongoing interaction chronicles."
"Depending on the mission, you’ll see another player in the background, but in other cases, you’ll actually be slicing and dicing demons side-by-side with another player!".
This basically means that certain missions will only be playable in single-player, probably depending on the story portions they're set in.
A Devil May Cry 5 demo is currently accessible on Xbox One, while different demos are relied upon to drop on different stages soon, as well.
