ESL TO HOST TOURNAMENT IN BUCHAREST FEATURING PRIZE POOL OF $57,000
Romexpo Arena will host the 8th edition of the ESL Southeast Europe Championship. The event is in celebration of being the longest leaguein the region and represents the support received from the Bucharest’s Municipality and Cultural Center of Bucharest to expand Esports in the region.
ESL announced that it will be hosting a four-team tournament in Bucharest with $57,000 up for grabs.
The open qualifier for the tournament will be held on Saturday, November 10, and Saturday, November 17. The six qualified teams will compete against two invited teams in the closed qualifier, which is scheduled on November 26-28.
Qualifiers are open to teams residing in Europe, teams that possess a European visa, or teams who can secure a visa to Romania. The top three finishers from each qualifier will advance to the online playoffs.

The tournament will be held in Romexpo indoor arena during the Bucharest Gaming Week on December 9. This will be one day after the finals of the ESL Southeast Europe Championship.
